By accessing or using HolisticCodex (the 'Service'), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by e-mail or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

HolisticCodex is an educational wellness platform providing articles, tools, and resources about holistic health traditions including Ayurveda, TCM, Kampo, Korean Medicine, Unani, Western medicine, Biohacking, and Naturopathy.

The Service includes features such as a personal library, Dosha Test, Wellness Tracker, and AI-assisted chat. These tools are educational aids, not substitutes for professional medical care.

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at privacy@holisticcodex.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

HolisticCodex offers free and paid membership tiers (Pro, Expert). Paid features are described on the Pricing page.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected interval.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

By purchasing a subscription, you explicitly request and agree that access to the digital content and services begins immediately upon successful payment. You acknowledge that, because of this immediate access, you lose your statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days under EU consumer protection law.

As a goodwill policy, we nevertheless offer a 14-day money-back guarantee to customers who purchase a paid subscription: contact us within 14 days of the charge for a full refund. This goodwill refund does not apply to users who had already accessed the paid features through an extended free trial, referral, or promotional period, since the Service was already evaluated before purchase.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.

HolisticCodex participates in various affiliate marketing programmes, including the Amazon Associates Programme — affiliate advertising programmes that allow sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to partner products.

When you click an affiliate link on this site and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content or product recommendations.

All content on HolisticCodex — including articles, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of HolisticCodex or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems; (c) upload or transmit malicious code; (d) scrape or systematically extract content without permission; (e) impersonate any person or entity; (f) use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HolisticCodex and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

In particular, we are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from following information presented on the platform. All health-related decisions must be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic.
